Colonial Arequipa

Day 1: Arequipa
Upon arrival in Arequipa, reception and transfer to hotel. Known as the “White City,” Arequipa is located in southern Peru at an elevation of approximately 7,500 feet and is surrounded by El Misti peak.
Afternoon guided excursion of the 16th century Santa Catalina Monastery This magnificent convent has been the scene of many historic and religious events and was completely closed to outside visitors for almost 400 years. For centuries nuns lived their whole lives there, isolated from the rest of the world. The Monastery has been beautiful refurbished and contains beautiful pictures.
Day 2: Arequipa
This morning tour of the city of Arequipa, visiting the Plaza de Armas, considered as one of the most beautiful in all Peru. We als visit the Cathedral, La Compañía and San Francisco churches, and the famous Sabandia Mill. Free afternoon is free to explore the colonial streets or visit the Juanita mummy museum.
Day 3: Arequipa
